This one-year Community Support Certificate program will provide students with the knowledge and skills to offer safe and competent support to individuals in need. With the opportunity to pursue meaningful and significant differences in the lives of individuals in the public and private sectors. Some core skills covered include: Interpersonal communication, Receding and Reporting, Introduction to Community Support, Introduction to Indigenous World Views, and Community Service learning.

ELIGIBILITIES
Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
Alberta Grade 12 English Language and Mathematics completion or successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test with a minimum score of 450 in each of the five tests.
Students from nonEnglish speaking countries should provide proof of English Proficiency; IELTS with an overall band of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each band, CELPIP with an overall band of 6 and none less than 6, or a minimum TOEFL score of 78 (CBT), with nothing less than 19 in each band.
